I’ve the chance to commerce in my PAM0005 for a Seamster 300m Black and am weighing the professionals and cons. I am hoping to listen to some ideas from individuals who could personal each. Why would you select one over the opposite?
I’ve had this Panerai for about 6 months and it is fairly unbelievable – lovely, tremendous vibrant luminosity that lasts till the early hours of the morning. It appears to be like tremendous distinctive and the handbook winding and locking mechanism is a pleasure to make use of. I simply had it serviced by an area watchmaker and it runs nice.
The largest draw back for me is how huge and particularly how heavy it’s. It positively feels fairly top-heavy, though I feel I can nearly get it off on my 18cm broad wrist.
Seamaster 300m was a watch that I assumed was hideous for a very long time, however today I give it some thought increasingly, and very similar to I used to assume Panerai was ugly, one thing in my head modified and I now assume it is each The Panerai and Seamaster are tremendous cool and look distinctive.
One cause for a commerce is partly to “attempt one thing new” and partly to hopefully discover one thing extra snug than the Panerai. Partially it looks like a mistake as a result of Panerai is likely one of the most original watches in the marketplace and to many individuals the Seamaster appears to be like like another diver. For reference I’ve a BB58 and an Oris Divers 65.
